Protesters rally against Roberto Vannacci in Turin

TURIN, ITALY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2026: Demonstrators march through central Turin during a protest against the presence of Roberto Vannacci, leader of Futuro Nazionale, who was attending a conference on urban security at the NH Torino Centro hotel. The demonstration began as a picket near the venue before protesters marched through surrounding streets amid a heavy police presence. The conference, organized by the FSP police union, had initially been presented as professional training for police officers before Italy’s Department of Public Security clarified that it was a union initiative and would not qualify as professional training.
