Foreign activists join Palestinian olive harvest in Rantis

RANTIS, OCCUPIED WEST BANK, OCTOBER 6, 2026: Foreign activists join Palestinian farmers harvesting olives in Rantis, northwest of Ramallah, as part of a solidarity initiative supporting farmers during the annual olive harvest. Local residents said Palestinian landowners have faced restrictions on accessing agricultural land and accused Israeli forces and settlers of preventing families from reaching their olive groves. Three Palestinian families were able to reach their land and begin harvesting before Israeli forces arrived and prevented residents, journalists and others from remaining in the area, according to residents at the scene.
