Flood-hit families struggle as waters recede in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, BANGLADESH, SEPTEMBER 19, 2026: Flood-affected residents shelter with their cattle along the Rajshahi city protection embankment as waters begin to recede in Middle Char. Families displaced or affected by flooding continue to face shortages of food, safe drinking water and livestock feed, while some residents remain in partially submerged homes.
