KATHMANDU, NEPAL, SEPTEMBER 18, 2026: Hindu devotees carry and immerse idols of Lord Vishwakarma in the Bagmati River at Chobhar in Kathmandu, marking the conclusion of annual Vishwakarma Puja celebrations. Worshippers perform traditional rituals, offer prayers and smear colored powder on one another before lowering clay idols into the river. Vishwakarma Puja is observed by artisans, mechanics and industrial workers, who traditionally worship their tools, machinery and vehicles in honor of the Hindu deity associated with architecture and craftsmanship.
