Protesters rally against planned missile production in Leipzig

LEIPZIG, GERMANY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2026: Demonstrators march through central Leipzig during a protest against plans by U.S. defense company Covenant to establish a missile production facility in the north of the city. The demonstration, organized by the “Keine Raketenfabrik in Leipzig” alliance, began at Augustusplatz and called for the planned defense production to be stopped.
