Funeral held for Ali al-Bazari in Burqa

BURQA, NABLUS, PALESTINE – OCTOBER 7, 2026: A large crowd accompanies the body of Ali Hassan Yasser al-Bazari, 44, to his final resting place in the village of Burqa, north of Nablus. The funeral procession departed from Rafidia Hospital and continued to al-Bazari’s home in Burqa, where his family and residents gathered for a final farewell before prayers were held at a local mosque and his body was buried in the village cemetery. Al-Bazari was killed during an attack by Israeli settlers, according to Palestinian authorities, on olive pickers from Burqa in agricultural areas extending between the village and the Ramin Plain east of Tulkarm. He was struck by live ammunition in the lower back and later died from his wounds.
