Facing the dual blows of global economic headwinds and soaring operating costs, chain restaurant giant Pizza Hut has not been spared in the UK market. Its dine-in franchise operator, DC London Pie Limited, recently announced it has formally entered administration and appointed FTI Consulting as the administrator. The company plans to close 68 restaurants and 11 takeaway outlets, resulting in approximately 1,210 job losses. Parent company Yum!
