This policy explains how artificial intelligence and related machine-learning tools ("Nexpher AI") are used on Nexpher Images. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Editorial Policy.

Nexpher Images Limited operates the Nexpher Images website, mobile applications, and licensing services. Nexpher Images Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexpher Limited.
Nexpher AI is a technology service of the Nexpher Group. It is developed and operated by Nexpher Limited and made available on Nexpher Images by Nexpher Images Limited. Nexpher Limited is the parent company of Nexpher Images Limited, not an unaffiliated third-party partner.
When you use Ask Nexpher AI, visual search, automated tagging, caption translation, or similar features, Nexpher Limited may process those requests on behalf of Nexpher Images Limited, consistent with our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Nexpher AI is used to help people find existing photographs and video in the Nexpher Images archive. Depending on the feature, it may:
On Nexpher Images, ordinary keyword search still defaults to showing the latest content. Ask Nexpher AI and "best match" ranking are used when you choose those features.
Nexpher AI does not create, fabricate, or publish news photographs. It does not replace photographers, editors, or our newsdesk. It is not a journalist, and it does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
All Nexpher AI outputs are suggestions only. That includes search rankings, Ask Nexpher AI replies, follow-up prompts, tags, translations, filters inferred from a question, and similar-image recommendations. They are not verified facts, editorial determinations, or a representation that an image is the correct, complete, or only match for your query.
A high ranking is not a statement that an image depicts a particular person, event, or allegation, and it is not an endorsement of any caption, tag, or translation.
Photographs remain the work of the photographers who captured them. Staff and stringer content is subject to our editorial process as described in the Editorial Policy. Machine-generated tags, translations, or rankings may be incomplete or incorrect and do not override human captions, metadata, or corrections.

Machine-learning systems can misread a question, miss relevant images, or surface visually similar pictures that are not about the same event. Language tools can mistranslate names, places, and captions. You must review the image, caption, and metadata yourself before licensing, publishing, or otherwise relying on a result.
Nexpher AI features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that suggestions or results will be complete, current, or error-free.
You use Nexpher AI at your own risk. You agree that Nexpher Images Limited, Nexpher Limited, and the Nexpher Group are not responsible for any decision you make based on a Nexpher AI suggestion, ranking, tag, translation, or result.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nexpher Images Limited, Nexpher Limited, and any member of the Nexpher Group shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, cost, or expense (including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or reputational harm) arising out of or related to:
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of Hong Kong or other applicable law (including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).
When you search or use Ask Nexpher AI, we process the query text and related technical data (such as IP address received by our servers) to return results, prevent abuse, and operate the service. Nexpher Limited may process this information for Nexpher Images Limited as described in our Privacy Policy.
Where a natural-language understanding feature is enabled, a question may be sent to a language-model provider acting as our processor or subprocessor. Those providers process the question in order to interpret it. We do not use Ask Nexpher AI to generate news images.
You may not use Nexpher AI to attempt to scrape the archive, bypass licensing, probe our systems, or generate or request harmful, unlawful, or deceptive output. We may rate-limit, suspend, or disable AI features to protect the service, consistent with our Terms.
We may update this policy as Nexpher AI features change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Nexpher AI features after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
