A monumental Catrina stands in Mexico City's Zócalo as the centerpiece of the 2026 Ofrenda Monumental. The roughly 32-meter figure, created by the Xibalbá art workshop, was unveiled as part of the Day of the Dead offering, which organizers said set a Guinness World Record for the tallest Catrina. The installation also features pieces from the exhibition "Ajolotes en el Corazón" and cempasúchil flowers. (Photo by Carlos Santiago/JNA Press via Nexpher Images)
