KERANIGANJ, DHAKA, BANGLADESH, OCTOBER 7, 2026: Young workers carry out manual tasks inside aluminum factories in the Zinjira industrial area of Keraniganj, near Dhaka. Sanaullah, believed to be around nine or 10 years old, says he works from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. and earns about 1,400 Bangladeshi taka ($11) a month. Children are seen grinding and handling metal products inside workshops where workers are exposed to heat, smoke, metal dust, machinery and sharp equipment, with limited protective gear visible. The long working hours also leave little time for regular schooling. Photo by Bipul Ahmed / JNA Press. (Photo by Bipul Ahmed/JNA Press via Nexpher Images)
